Irish Property and Facility Management Association
Membership Criteria:
Membership of the Irish Property and Facility Management Association is open to individuals and is by examination or in the case of mature students by experience. Members must be actively involved in the profession and agree to be bound by the Associations Code of Conduct. The decision of Council in relation to all matters pertaining to membership is final.
MEMBERSHIP COURSE
Applicants can qualify for admission to membership, by passing the Associations’ examinations or by holding an exempting Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Property / Facility Management recognised by the Association.
Applicants who wish to apply to the Associations Membership course must have a minimum of three years practical experience in two or more of the skills recognised in Property/Facility management.
Applicants must submit a completed membership application form together with copy of current CV, copies of any relevant educational certificates and written reference from a current full IPFMA member.
Fee: €2,000.00. Deposit of € 1,000 payable on submission of application form. Balance payable on confirmation of place on course.
CRITERIA FOR AFFILIATESHIP
Active practitioners who do not currently meet membership criteria may apply to be an affiliate of the Association, as an interim step to membership.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years practical experience in Property/Facility Management and agree to be bound by the Associations Code of professional conduct and ethical standards.
Affiliates enjoy the same benefits as members but are not entitled to use the designatory letters.
Applicants must submit a completed membership application form together with copy of current CV, copies of any relevant educational certificates and written reference from a current full IPFMA member.
Fee for Affiliate Membership: €140.00 per annum
CRITERIA FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP
Active practitioners who wish to apply for full membership of the Association must meet the following criteria:
Be actively involved in the Property/Facility Management profession, and
have a minimum of 5 years satisfactory management experience, with at least 3 years in Property/Facility management, or
hold an exempting Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Property/Facility Management recognised by the Association
Applicants must submit a completed membership application form together with copy of current CV, copies of any relevant educational certificates and written reference from a current full IPFMA member.
Fee for Full Membership: €200.00 per annum
