
MULTI-UNIT DEVELOPMENTS BILL 2009: IPFMA INITIAL SUBMISSION TO DOEHLG

IPFMA sent comments regarding the Multi-Unit Developments Bill 2009 to the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.
Following a recent meeting with the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform, IPFMA were advised that the correction of completion and handover difficulties falls within the remit of the Planning & Development Acts 2000 to 2007 and the Building Control Acts 1990 and 2007. To this end, a submission was issued to the Minsiter of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government with a request for a meeting to discuss the remedies for such issues.
